Last month, when a journalist asked Al Sharpton about his history with anti-Semitic comments, they received a surprising response.
“In the spirit of Donald Sterling,” the interviewer asked Sharpton, “do you think you should be banned from TB for all the racist stuff you’ve said over the years?”
“What racist stuff?” Sharpton jarred back.
“When you referred to Jews as white interlopers,” the interviewer told Sharpton, matter-of-factly. This example was only one of many. Sharpton has also called Jews “diamond merchants” and was heard saying “if the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”
What do you think? Should Sharpton be held accountable for his comments?
